      Summary: Relay Switch is designed with a strict Zero-Cloud & Privacy-First Architecture. We do not collect, process, track, or share any personal user data. All operations occur strictly between your smartphone and your local Relay Switch hardware over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
    

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Relay Switch does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal or technical information. Specifically:

No Account Information: No sign-in or account creation is required to use Relay Switch.
No Identity Data: We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or user profiles.
No Usage Analytics or Tracking: We do not track app usage, feature interaction, duration, or telemetry data.
No Cloud Servers: The application does not communicate with external analytics, telemetry, or backend cloud servers.

2. Device Permissions & Purpose

To function as a hardware controller, Relay Switch requests specific Android system permissions:

Bluetooth & BLE Access (BLUETOOTH_SCAN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): Used exclusively to discover, pair with, and send relay toggling commands to nearby Relay Switch ESP32 controllers.
Location Access (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): Android system OS requires location permission to perform Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning for nearby hardware peripherals. Relay Switch does NOT track, access, record, or store your physical GPS location.

3. Local On-Device Data Storage

All application settings, auto-off timers, and custom relay schedule routines are stored locally on your physical device using standard encrypted system storage (SharedPreferences). This data stays entirely on your phone and is only transmitted over local BLE directly to your ESP32 hardware module.

4. Third-Party Services

Relay Switch does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, tracking cookies, or external analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Firebase).

5. Data Security & Retention

Since no data is collected or transmitted off your device, there is zero risk of server-side data leaks or unauthorized data access. Uninstalling the application completely deletes all locally stored settings and schedules from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Relay Switch does not collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is fully safe and compliant with child privacy standards (COPPA / GDPR).

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
