No. Relay Switch operates 100% offline via local Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). No internet or cloud account is required.
When you set an auto-off timer or routine schedule in the app, the schedule is synced directly to the hardware's onboard non-volatile storage (NVS). The timer will execute on the hardware even if your phone disconnects or moves out of BLE range.
Relay Switch does not require or maintain user accounts, nor does it store personal data on external servers. To clear locally saved schedule preferences, simply clear application storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app.
